To prepare for this glasses fit guide, grab a ruler or a tape measure and a pair of eyewear you own that best fits your face (if available).

Measure the width

To get the right sizing for your eyeglasses, take the ruler and measure the width in millimeters from hinge to hinge. If you don't have glasses, then have a friend help your fitting by measuring the width of your face from temple to temple.

SMALL: 125-128mm / 4.9-5 inches 
MEDIUM: 129-132mm / 5.1-5.2 inches 
LARGE: 133-136mm / 5.3-5.4 inches

Find Your Size

The right size frames should have a width of within 4mm of what you measured from hinge to hinge or between your temples.

Many eyeglasses have three numbers that you can find on the inside of the arms. The first is the glasses lens width, the second is the nose bridge width, and the third is the temple length. Or, look for a size chart in the product description on either our website or the manufacturers website.

How should Glasses fit?

Even within the frame size, you'll have personal preferences for the width and feel of your glasses.

Narrow Fit

A narrow fit features small lenses that reveal most of the eyebrows.

Regular Fit

A regular fit should comfortably cover your eyes and may even dip down so you can feel a portion of the lens touch your cheek.

Oversized Fit

Oversized fits are usually large frames that stick out past the temples and rest over the tops of the cheeks and eyebrows.

Bridge & Nose pads

The bridge connects the two lenses in the frames, and the nose pads are just below the bride to help the frames sit comfortably on your face.

Keyhole Bridge

Resembling a shape of a keyhole, this type of bridge is often found on smaller or rounder vintage-style frames and provides a secure fit for various face shapes.

Saddle Bridge

Resembling the shape of a saddle, this type of bridge is made from a single piece of material and lays flat on the nose, enhancing comfort for extended wear.

Adjustable Nose Pad

Perfect for those who struggle to find glasses that fit well, these are small silicone or plastic pads that hug the sides of your nose to create a custom fit.
